Job Description:

PAK BioSolutions is hiring a Senior Sales Specialist to support and develop the growth of the company. This specific role will be key to the identification and qualification of new clients for both current and future PAK BioSolutions product offerings. This includes: proactive sales development, attending conferences and trade shows, identifying and following up with customer leads, and developing and maintaining relationships with clients. The individual will become an expert in the company’s product offerings. This important role will assist with customer and employee training as well as work closely with technical application specialists to ensure customers are provided the necessary expertise. The ideal candidate will have a background in biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and a working knowledge of the typical unit operations used in biopharmaceutical production.


  • Drive pipeline creation and profitable sales execution for the business.
  • Attend select conferences and trade shows through the U.S. and Europe to identify new customer leads and provide opportunities for interactions with existing contacts.
  • Host introductory meetings to introduce PAK’s technologies to new clients with support from technical representatives.
  • Reach out to and maintain communication with current and potential clients through in-person meetings, video conferences, phone calls, and emails.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact and drive customer experience from company introduction through securing sales growth and ongoing support.
  • Develop and expand the company brand by attending trade shows and conferences, to identify new customer leads, provide opportunities for interactions with new and existing contacts and to further enhance the company’s footprint in the market.
  • Perform monthly pipeline reviews, sales forecasts and report out to company leadership.
  • Identify key targets, select outreach efforts, and refine sales process.
  • Identify and communicate product issues, complaints, and potential improvements to management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or another relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry commercial landscape.
  • Proven track record of profitable success in technical sales and value-based selling.
  • Experience in selling biopharma processing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Ability to develop accurate sales forecasts, targets and business pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, generate, qualify and document new business leads and secure sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Knowledge of standard unit operations in biopharmaceutical production, including chromatography and filtration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM and account planning.
  • Communicates clearly to and develops relationships with potential and current clients.
  • Must be willing to travel to customer sites on short notice, and willing to travel up to 40% to 50 % of time.
  • Strong time and territory management skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to multi-task.
