PAK BioSolutions Named Top Virginia Employer for Interns

Vienna, VA – PAK BioSolutions has been given the 2023 Top Virginia Employers for Interns Award by the Virginia Talent and Opportunity Partnership or VTOP. This is an annual award for high quality internships based on categories such as training, exposure to senior leaders, and worker benefits. The award was issued on Virginia Intern Day, proclaimed to be July 27 in conjunction with National Intern Day by Governor Youngkin. There was also a video posted by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, including statements by the chamber CEO, the Virginia Secretary of Education, and other community leaders.

This summer, PAK BioSolutions welcomed two undergraduate engineering interns and participated in the STEM2VA internship program with VirginiaBio, the state affiliate of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). Our interns had their own projects, including the creation of a process design calculation website and an electrical signal transmitter. During their time at PAK BioSolutions, our interns had chances to shadow each employee and meet weekly with both the CEO one-on-one and the entire team.
